  Today was my first visit ever and although it was very interesting I realized coming to Sunshine Dental that the staff is very compassionate and know how to deal with "Newbies" who are nervous. My nervousness gotten worse during the whole Xray with the metal piece in my mouth. I ended up with a sore tongue for a short while because the dental assistant tried to really get me to open my mouth wide enough to hold that gizmo but nothing was working. Finally she called Dr. Cheung and the dentist consulted with me and examined my mouth herself with patience and discussed what was comfortable for me today that she could help me with. I told her I haven't been to the dentist since I was a child and I have no memory of it so I am overwhelmed with fear and crying. She assured me that all is well and for me to try a different approach in order to get the Xrays of my teeth. Finally I asked the dental assistant to let me hold the tray myself and guide me as I am opening my mouth to do it so the scan can be taken and that did the trick. Well I am happy to have gotten through all that but now that I know what needs to be fixed, my next appointment will be in a week where I will be prescribed the day before the dental repair of my top teeth some Ativan to calm me down and Novacaine for the teeth to be numb while they fix my top teeth and cavities. I am also happy to say that after asking Dr. Cheung will I ever have a beautiful smile again she said 100% yes I will be able to smile with all new looking teeth. This got me so excited and relieved I grabbed her and hugged her and she just was so understanding. What an experience but it's now or never to get these teeth cleaned and fixed finally. Sunshine Dental is a great dentist office and I am glad to know they cater to "Chickens" like me and my 7 year old. Anastacia "Ace" Hauldridge

  I had a problem wit my last dentist doing work without my permission and suprising me with a bill after. Everyone here was up front about the work we had to do and payments to expect. Explained everything to the T. Plus the work was great. I'm telling my family and friends about this place.
